The YVC Hampton Roads App provides access to service-learning resources and meaningful volunteer opportunities in Hampton Roads, Virginia! We believe in the POWER OF YOUTH and strive to harness their potential through interactive, engaging service experiences. This tool puts YVCHR's resources at your fingertips and even allows youth participants to earn badges as they demonstrate growth, mastery, and leadership around different strategic focus areas. Designed to meet the needs of our youth volunteers (ages 11-18), school club sponsors, community partners, and YVCHR staff members, this app will connect you to:

Based in Newport News, Virginia, Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads is a nonprofit youth development organization with the mission of creating and increasing volunteer opportunities that enrich the lives of Hampton Roads youth, addressing community needs and inspiring young people to embrace a lifetime ethic of service. We utilize team-based, service-learning volunteer opportunities for young people as a conduit to teach workplace readiness skills, enhance academic performance, inspire a lifelong commitment to volunteerism, establish community connections, and address the needs of recipient nonprofit organizations. We believe that through service to others, our volunteers discover the best in themselves.
